Marble Butter

Ingredients :

200  gm   butter
100  gm   margarine
200  gm   castor sugar
    4  eggs
200  gm   plain flour
1/2   tsp   baking powder
  20  gm   cocoa powder

Garnishing :

1   tbsp   cocoa powder
1   tbsp   warm water

Tray :  8-inch

Method :

1.   Grease and line a 20cm (8-inch) baking tin.  Preheat oven to 180'C.
2.   Beat butter, margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add in eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
3.   Fold in sifted flour and baking powder to form a batter.  Reserve 200 gm batter mix with cocoa powder to form chocolate batter.
4.   Spread batters alternately into prepared tin.
5.   For garnishing, mix cocoa powder with water and 1 tbsp batter, mix well.  Sprinkle on top of cake.  Swirl mixture in circles with skewer.  Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked.
