KEY LIME PIE (sangat sedap, rasa seaka cheesecake)










KEY LIME PIE
Adapted from  :  Nestle Milkmaid/You tube (taste like cheesecake)
Tried & Tested :  zaralovebaking ; delicious & yummy




Ingredients :

 1/2  can  Nestle Sweetened Condensed Milkmaid  (200 gm)
100  gm  low sugar biscuits or graham crackers  (about 15 pieces)
    6  tbsp  unsalted butter  (melted)
 1/3  cup  key lime or regular lime juice  (50 ml)
    1  cup  fresh cream  (150 ml)
Green food colouring, a few drops (optional)


Method :

1.  Crush the biscuits finely, then add the melted butter and mix well.  Press onto a greased loose bottom pie dish and chill for 15 minutes until firm in the refrigerator.

2.  Whisk the Nestle Milkmaid and lime juice together until thick.  Then whip the fresh cream until soft peaks form and fold into the condensed milk mixure.  Gently mix till combined using a spatula.

3.  Pour onto the chilled biscuits layer/base and swirl the green food colouring (if using) through the mixture to create a marble effect.  Freeze for 1-2 hours or overnight until set set.  (Note :  you can also add 1 tsp of grated lime zest).
