 sedap dimakan bersama ais krim vanilla


adapted from :  Joy of Baking (original recipe :  Raspberry Brownies)

Ingredients :

150  gm     semisweet chocolate -  coarsely chopped
113  gm     unsalted butter  (1/2 cup), diced
    2  tbsp   cocoa powder  (15 gm)
    1  cup    granulated white sugar  (200 gm - I reduced to 150 gm because too sweet)
    1  tsp     vanilla essence
    3  large  eggs  (A)
 3/4  cup    all-purpose flour, sifted ( 95 gm )
 1/4  tsp     salt
 3/4  cup    strawberry jam (225 gm), original recipe use raspberry jam

Method :

     Preheat oven to 350'F (180'C).  Butter or spray an 8" (20cm) square baking pan, and line bottom of the baking pan with parchment paper.  Set aside.
     Melt the chocolate and butter in a large heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water.  Remove from heat and whisk in cocoa powder and sugar.  Next, whisk in the vanilla essence and eggs, one at a time.  Finally, stir in flour and salt.  Stir just until combined.
     Pour into prepared baking pan.  Place the jam in a piping bag and pipe 16 small dollops on top of the brownies batter.  Run a knife back and forth until you get a marble effect.
     Bake for about 30-35 minutes until done.
