CHIFFON CAKE...

 Weigh :  90 gm (strawberry flavour)

CHIFFON CAKE

Baking Method :    Preheat Oven Baking
(Oven Heat :    Top & Bottom, No Fan)
Pan :    8-inch removable Chiffon Cake Mould


Ingredient A :

5  egg  yolks  (I use grade A)
1/2  tsp  salt
80  gm  milk
60  gm  oil
45  gm  sugar


Ingredient B :

100  gm  JELL-O ~  Cherry.Cereza  (I am using Kristal Jeli, strawberry flavour with it's sugar in it)


Ingredient C :

120  gm  cake flour  (I use plain all-purpose flour)
1/2  tsp  baking powder


Ingredient D :

5  egg  whites  (grade A)
45  gm  sugar
A pinch cream of tartar  or  1/2  tsp  lemon juice


Directions :

1.  Preheat oven at 150'C or according to your oven temperature.

2.  Mix egg yolks, salt, milk, oil and sugar until well combined.

3.  Add JELL-O gelatin dessert and mix well.  Add cake flour and baking powder and mix until well combined into smooth batter.

4.  Whisk the egg whites till foamy.  Add in cream tartar/lemon juice.

5.  Gradually add in sugar in 3 portions.  Whisk till stiff peaks form.

6.  Fold meringue into the batter in 3 batches until well combined.

7.  Transfer batter into prepared cake mould.  (Tap as you transfer).

8.  Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour until done.

9.  Remove from oven, bang on the counter a few times and invert to cool completely before removing from pan...
