Hari ni pertama kali kak mencuba buat Puding Kasih Bertaut. Cadang untuk dibawa sebagai buah tangan ke majlis pertunangan anak buah kak tapi bila cuba dikeluarkan dari acuan ianya pecah sedikit. Sungguhlah sedih dan amat mengecewakan. Jadi kak cuba pula buat untuk kali kedua tapi kali ni menggunakan resepi dan teknik lain. Selalunya acuan dibasahkan tapi kali ni kak oleskan dengan sedikit mentega/marjerin...ternyata kali ni senang untuk mengeluarkan puding dari acuan. Barulah terasa gembira dan hilang rasa kecewanya...hihihi..
yang ni percubaan resipi kali kedua..dari buku..ayuh kita mencubanya...
RAINBOW BREAD PUDDING
cookbook : The Magic of Agar-Agar
Ingredient (A) : for decorating filling
7 gm agar-agar powder
100 gm sugar
600 gm water
Food colouring : yellow, green & red
Method :
1. Boil agar-agar, sugar and water in a pot.
2. Divide the mixture into 3 parts, 1 portion yellow, 1 portion red and 1 portion green in 3 small bowls.
3. Cut into long shapes when set or shaped into desired pattern/shapes..
Ingredient (B) :
20 gm agar-agar powder
300 gm sugar
400 gm thick coconut milk
1400 gm water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pandan paste
2 blades pandan leaves (knotted)
Ingredient (C) :
3 slices white bread (cut into small cubes) *
250 gm evaporated milk * (* soak)
2 egg yolks
Method :
1. Place ingredient (B) in a pot, stir it until boiled.
2. Add in ingredient (C) stir well and bring it to a boil.
3. Add ingredient (A) into the mixture, stir well and pour it into the mould. Leave to set.
4. Chill in the refrigerator before taking out from the mould.
Note :
1. you can cut the bread in cubes or just blend it along with the milk and egg yolks before adding into the pot (no.2)..
2. you can put the ingredient (A) into the mould first then slowly pour in the warm agar-agar mixture into it...
