A HEALTHY SNACK FROM OATS
BLUEBERRY OAT BITES

Ingredients :
150 gm butter, softened
100 gm soft brown sugar
225 gm rolled oats
2 tbsp honey
4 tbsp dried blueberries (or other dried fruit, raisins, nuts etc)
Method :
1. Mix the butter and brown sugar in a bowl until the mixture is creamy.
2. Mix in the rolled oats and honey.
3. Stir the mixture until the ingredients are evenly combined.
4. Add the dried blueberries (or raisins, nuts, cranberry, etc) and stir them in.
5. Grease a muffin pan.
6. Scoop a heaped tablespoonful of the mixture into each slot of the muffin pan.
7. Press down the mixture slightly.
8. Preheat the oven to 190'C.
9. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until tops and sides are brown.
10. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
11. Using a small knife, remove them from the muffin pan onto a wire rack to continue cooling.
12. When cool, they are ready to be served, or kept in an airtight container.
