PANNA COTTA









PANNA COTTA

Ingredients :

   1/4  cup  cold milk  (60 ml)
      7  gm  unflavoured gelatin
   1/2  cup  icing sugar  (60 gm)
2 1/4  cups  heavy whipping cream  (540 ml)
   1/2  tsp  vanilla extract


Method :

1.  Sprinkle the gelatin into the cold milk.  (It is important to sprinkle the gelatin so the gelatin can absorb the milk.  Set aside for 5-10 minutes).

2.  Heat up the whipping cream and icing sugar until the mixture starts to bubble and the sugar has dissolved.  Turn off the heat.

3.  Add in the gelatin mixture, stir until the gelatin dissolved completely.

4.  Stir in the vanilla extract, mix just until combined.

5.  Pour into the containers of your choice.  Set aside to let cool at room temperature.

6.  Chill in the refrigerator until they set.  Serve with any compote of your choice.
