HOMEMADE VANILLA PUDDING FROM SCRATCH...


 serve with Blueberry Filling





HOMEMADE VANILLA PUDDING 
FROM SCRATCH

Ingredients :

3/4  cup  granulated sugar  (next time reduce to 1/2 cup as it's too sweet to my taste)
3  tbsp  cornstarch
1/8  tsp  kosher salt 
2  cups  milk
1/2  cup  heavy whipping cream  (I use dairy whipping cream)
1  tbsp  unsalted butter
1 1/2  tsp  vanilla extract


Directions :

1.  Place the sugar, cornstarch and salt in a small pot and whisk to combine.
2.  Gradually whisk in the milk and cream.
3.  Cook the mixture over medium heat until thickened (about 5 minutes).
4.  Remove from the heat and whisk in the butter and vanilla extract.
5.  Pour the pudding into serving glasses and chill for at least 2 hours.
6.  Serve cold!!!!
