MELT-IN THE MOUTH PINEAPPLE TARTS...








MELT-IN THE MOUTH PINEAPPLE TARTS

Ingredients :

125  gm  soft butter
150  gm  plain flour
25  gm  milk powder
15  gm  icing sugar
1  egg  yolk  (I use grade B egg)
1/2  tsp  vanilla extract

Pineapple filling (store bought) 360 gm, shape into small round balls, 12 gm each (30 pcs)


Directions :

1.  Use an electric mixer to blend butter, sugar, vanilla extract, milk powder and flour together.  (I use a wooden spoon only).

2.  Add in egg yolk, blend into a soft dough, do not over work.

3.  Pinch off some dough to wrap the pineapple filling and roll into round ball.  Use cookie cutters to print shape; if desired.

4.  Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180'C for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown...

Note :

 For filling I weigh :  8 gm 
For dough I weight :  10 gm
Yields :  33 pcs...
