CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN...










CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN

Ingredients :

2  cups  all-purpose flour
1/2  cup  sugar
1  tbsp  baking powder
1/2  tsp  salt
1  egg,  grade A/large
3/4  cup  milk
1/3  cup  vegetable oil
3/4  cup  miniature semisweet chocolate chips


Method :

1.  In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients.  In a small bowl, beat egg, milk and oil.  Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.  Fold in chocolate chips.  (Do Not over mix or you'll end up with a tough muffin).

2.  Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths@3/4 full.  Bake at 400'F/200'C for about 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.  Cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
